Our History

Crater Seventh-day Adventist Church Nakuru was founded as a constituent assembly of Nakuru West Church (Sabbath School of SDA Nakuru West Church).

A small congregation of about 40 members held their initial worship meetings at the Nakuru Agricultural Show of Kenya showground but later procured a land property in down town Nakuru where temporary wooden facilities were established.

In October, 1995, the church was formally organized and moved to its temporary wooden church facilities in this down town Location. Since then, the church congregation has grown ten fold and constructed Infrastructural facilities including a modern and permanent sanctuary and other related facilities to accommodate the steady growh of its membership.

Plans are underway to augment existing infrastructural facilities and to harness modern Technological Developments in the delivery of Information and Conduct of Worship Programs.
